Apparently, all it takes for me to get myself to sit down and begin typing out a blog post are a few small bird eggs nesting in my mother's wreath. Yes, those are eggs, and yes, that is the front door wreath...
Let us all just take a second to pretend it's still December and that I'm not a month late posting this book review... After all, there's no rules against talking about a book you can read in December... as long as you pretend its still December!
With November come little skiffs of snow on the ground, hot chocolate (with marshmallows, of course), cookies in the oven, time cuddling by the fireplace, ski-trips, and extravagant sledding adventures (that leave you with snow in the craziest of places).
While October may often be referred to as the spooky month, there is rarely any bone in my body that desires to read a spooky book this month (sorry Mr. Stephan King). As much as Carrie intrigues me, I think I'll be sticking to the classic mysteries this month.
Oh no... where did Summer go!? No longer can we sit and read all day to our hearts content... but that doesn't mean we still can't enjoy a good book when we have the time.
No one can deny the chaos that accompanies those last few moments before school starts. By the time you read this, I will already be at school. Dressed up for first day pictures and wishing summer had lasted just a tad longer :)
If it wasn't already clear, it's totally Summer. I've spent the last few weeks completely oblivious to the fact I hadn't written a blog post for the month yet, and absolutely terrified because I knew I only had a few weeks before school started... where did the summer go?!
Before Summer began, my good friends and I got together and began to brainstorm all the ways we were going to make this summer amazing. Of all the crazy things we do together, I'm 100% sure the list we came up with amplifies our personalities perfectly!

July. Oh, July. By far one of the hottest month of the year. Being in the middle of Summer, it can either be days full of nothing or a season that just flies by (the more likely option). In my opinion, the best way to spend a lazy summer day (or just any day you get free) is to read a boo…
Happy 4th of July! To be honest, this may be one of the few years my family is completely clueless as to our plans for this 4th of July. It just snuck up on us!
I have a confession to make. Until this past weekend, I had never before camped in a tent. It's crazy to think that I'd never gone before (living in Montana and all), but I will for sure be going again. Camping is beyond amazing!
As Summer is just a day away, it's hard not to pick up photography as a hobby... or at least it's hard for me. Photos of nature bring so much joy and light out into the world!
As summer begins, the time in the sun grows longer, family comes around, finals are in the back view of every high schooler's mind, and there are so many fun adventures ahead.
