Me and My Sports Car

In the not so distant future (hopefully) when I'm a best-selling author making millions, expect me to be driving down the road in a Ferrari, Lamborghini, or some other sports car. Ooooo, or a Mini Cooper like you'd see in the Italian Job! I am my fathers daughter in soooo many way... especially when it comes to cars! For soooo long now, I have dreamed of the day when I would get my driver's license. If you ever watch a show with SUPER AWESOME CARS and I'm sitting next to you, I hope you aren't one of those people that hates it when others talk during movies, 'cause I tend to make tons of 'oooos' and 'awes' when there are fancy cars.

I live in this bigger town in Montana, and the only way to get my learners permit before I turn 16, is to go through the school's program. Well, there are sooooooo many kids in the district older than me that sign up, I have ended up on the wait list every time!! I WANT TO DRIVE SOOOO BADLY! I already know how to... sorta. I can drive my side-by-side really well. I can even back out of the driveway without hitting anything!

I'm actually pretty good at driving my side-by-side. Sure, there were a few times that I hit a few bushes, but since then, I've driven when my windshield was covered in mud and I DIDN'T CRASH!

See? I'm prepared to drive a real car now! Sure, I still haven't driven in the snow, but it's not like more than half the year is winter... oh wait... it is. Well, it can't be that bad right? Don't tell anyone, but I kinda want to experience fish-tailing or making a donut. Have you seen those super cool drifters out there? They make it seem easy (which I know it's not) but they also make it look like sooooooo much FUN!

If you didn't already know, driving a race car is on my Bucket List, and I plan to fulfill that dream! Not only when I get my license will I be able to drive (and possibly drive a race car), but after I get my license and have my own car, I won't have to ride the bus!!!! Which means, I can leave school early and not have to wait till 4:15 when the bus comes! It also means that I don't have to get up at o'dark-thirty to catch the bus in the morning!

I CAN'T WAIT TO DRIVE!

  1. Pretty soon you will one of the older kids on the list and then wow, you will be on the road. I want to ride in your fancy car when you get it,just not too much fish tailing or drifting while I'm with you.

  2. We have a side-by-side to drive around the farm too. It does all of 30mph, maybe. It's not a race car and you eat more dust than burning rubber. Drifting in a mid-engine hot rod would be the best. I checked and the rental companies say we'll have to wait until 25. I can't believe that!
