Book of the Month: May

Who's ready to jump out of the pages of last month's fantasy novel and into the pages of history? We're taking a big leap in genres this month, but this book is worth reading every page. Let's jump back in time!

Funny story, it's officially Mystery May (but I'm sharing a book about history with you) and the mystery novel I shared with y'all was in March! So here's the mystery... how come I didn't know that earlier?? (But also, what's to stop you from re-reading the mystery novel and then this book?) If you've read both, I'd love to hear in the comments which one you thought was a better read!

THIS MONTH'S BOOK: Night by Elie Wiesel
Genre: Autobiography
Published: 1956
About: The first book in Elie Wiesel's 3 book memoir (easily read as a stand alone book) takes its reader back to the time of the Holocaust, where Elie shares his story about his time in Auschwitz. As sad as this book can get, I still couldn't put it down...

SETTING:
Okay, hear me out. You know those soft, cushy benches all around the museum? Perfect for people-watching (if you're a little crazy like me and you like to laugh at all the kids that run through the exhibits) and perfectly placed to relax.

Here's the thing, I think this book should be read in a museum! Sure, it's easy to read a book anywhere, but it just feels like it'd be fun to pick someplace a little bizarre. I mean, it's crazy to pay for entry to a museum only to sit on a bench to read your book... but doesn't it sound like fun?!

TA-DA! Another one of my crazy ideas! A museum and a book... I think it's the perfect match. If you do decide to read in a museum, I hope you enjoy!

Happy reads everyone!

Also.... HAPPY HARRY POTTER DAY! Just out of curiosity, what house are you in? I'm 39% Gryffindor, 19% Ravenclaw, 25% Hufflepuff, and 17% Slytherin... and yes, I took one of the millions of quizzes out there, so... what are you??!

Have any good book suggestions for the months to come? Let me know in the comments!

Have an SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS week!
