Special: The Best Christmas Traditions (From Around the World)

EXACTLY ONE WEEK FROM CHRISTMAS... YAY! Ever wonder how other countries around the world celebrate Christmas? Well, here are FIVE countries and details about how they celebrate Christmas!!! Let's take a trip around the World!!

Our first stop: ETHIOPIA!
Yep, no snow here. That is unless you trek up the mountains...
In this African country, Christmas is called Ganna and celebrated on January 7th! Here, there is no such this as Santa Claus (Little Kids: YOU DIDN'T HEAR THAT!). Instead, elders wear robes and hand out homemade bread to the children! There's even a coffee ceremony as a part of their Christmas Celebrations! Interesting yet?

Now where? How about the Netherlands?
Turns out, Amsterdam is the place to be during the holidays!
Aside from the HUGE Christmas tree that is set up in the square, Amsterdam artists project lights on buildings along the canal for a BEAUTIFUL VIEW!

Ooooo! Now for some Italy Fun!
Want to go to a Christmas service at midnight?
Well, turns out Italy is the place to do that! And on that Christmas Eve night if you ever find yourself in Italy, walking to St. Peter Basilica's Church, don't ignore the roasted chestnuts that are literally sold on just about EVERY street corner. (According to Google!)

Burr... It's Cold HERE! Welcome to Alaska!
Okay, yes, still in the US, but the North Pole obviously has some AWESOME Christmas traditions! This is Santa's official residency where Christmas lights are up year round. All 365 days! Christmas here, involves an ice sculpture contest! Cool, right!?!

Wait.. what? Did you say Christmas Island?
That's right! Obviously, this little island 1,500 miles off the coast of Australia is bound to have fun Christmas traditions, right?
Here, it's roughly a straight 80℉ year round, and a traditional Christmas is a midday BBQ at the beach!
WOW! I want to have a BBQ lunch for Christmas... sounds awesome!

That's it for the 2021 Christmas Special! Hope you enjoyed!
