To keep this list fun to read, I kept it to FIVE of the Best Classic Christmas Songs! Here they are:
1. Santa Claus is Comin' to Town by Bruce Springsteen
This was my Dad's favorite Christmas song... and he wasted no time telling me when I asked his for his favorite. If I'm being honest, I had to look it up on YouTube to know just what version he was talking about and it was a fun song!!
2. Gloria (The Classic Hymn)
This is my Mom's favorite Christmas song!
Glooor-oooor-oooor-ooor-oooor-ria! In excelsis Deo! You know... that song! Did you know that phrase means "Glory be to God on High" or "Glory in the highest to God"! I had noooo idea! Wow, I really need to work on my Latin!
3. All I Want for Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey
Another suggestion from my Mom, who highly recommends this classic Christmas song!
4. Jingle Bells
So funny story, I asked my brother, "What's Your Favorite Christmas Song?" and he replied with... "I don't know... I don't know the names of any of them except for Jingle Bells"... so here we are! So, not his favorite, just the only one he could name. To be honest... I believe Jingle Bells is one of the most annoying Christmas songs, but it's not a Christmas song if it doesn't get stuck in your head... am I right?
5. The Little Drummer Boy (The Pentatonix Version)
Yes, the Pentatonix version. Not any other version... it has to be the Pentatonix version. You know what I mean? An A Capella version of The Little Drummer Boy is sooooo AWESOME!!
