Happy Thanksgiving everyone! In light of Thanksgiving we not only need to be thankful, but think about the 3 F's. Family, Food, and Fun. Without Family, Food won't taste as good. Without Food, are you still having as much Fun? Take turkey for example. Why is it we only eat it once or twice a year? Because it only tastes as good as you think with family, and when you're having Fun.
And speaking of turkey, Montana is FULL of Turkeys, and they know just when the holidays are rolling around. Whenever I see one gobbling, wagging their little wattles (the red thing on their chins), and protesting their freedom, I just think to myself, "I CAN'T WAIT TO EAT YOU!"
I have little against Turkeys, but my grandma sure does. One year an eagle flew by her house, picked up a big fat Turkey and dumped it on her roof. At least the eagle agrees with her about Turkeys, I however find it hard to hate Turkeys when they taste soooooooo goooood!
Now, I'm a leg girl myself, and everyone in my family knows I get dibs on Turkey legs. Ohhh do Turkey legs taste GOOOOOOD!!! YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY!
This year, I am thankful for my 5 followers! Thanks for supporting me and my blog! Have a GREAT day!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

COOL!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are at my house for thanksgiving eating a turkey leg.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I could be here!
DeleteBahahahahaha!!! I’m pretty sure everyone in my building could hear me laughing from this one.....especially the...”I CAN’T WAIT TO EAT YOU!” 😂😂😂 Turkeys are definitely hilarious to watch. On occasion, some take the chance to land in the two trees coming up the hill...I can’t remember what kind they are....but the branches are WAY too small for them. So when they do, watching them do a balancing act by rocking back and forth is hilarious! 😂 But hearing mom mumbling under her breath as she’s headed for the door with a purpose, grabbing her little “pistola” is funny too! 😂😂😂
ReplyDelete😅 That sounds like lots of fun watching Turkeys trying to balance on the tree branches. I can clearly envision that in my head, and I'm smiling soooo much right now! I'm sooooo glad you enjoyed my post, and the fact your mom feels the same way about turkeys as my Grandma does, is hilarious 😆
